In Warsaw, it has been shown how Lukashenka “won the elections” (Photos)
On the evening of 4 November near Centrum metro station in Warsaw, a rally took place in support of Belarusian political prisoners.
During the rally, several films about the 2010 presidential elections in Belarus and the dispersal of the protest on election day were shown. Those passers-by who were interested in the films and stopped to watch them were given leaflets of information, calling for the support of political prisoners in Belarus.
The event was organized by “The Union for Democracy in Belarus”. As Anatol Mikhnavets, the organising representative, told “Euroradio”, the showing of films about Belarus in busy parts of the Polish capital will continue. The organization will encourage residents of Warsaw to write letters of support to Belarusian political prisoners and to write letters of protest to the Belarusian embassy in Warsaw, demanding an end to political repression.
