Aleksandr Volontsevich is at Okrestina

Aleksandr Volontsevich, an activist of "European Belarus", who was arrested yesterday at the rally of solidarity, is in the central detention centre at Okrestina.

In protest against his illegal detention, he declared that he would go on hunger strike.

Aleksandr’s court case will be held on 24 October at 10.00 in the Central Court of the city of Minsk.

Let us remind you that at yesterday’s rally of solidarity for political prisoners, Aleksandr Volontsevich addressed the crowd through a megaphone and called on them to come to the next rally on 24 October in 19.00 in October Square; after saying that, he was arrested.
