Andrei Sannikov continues to acquaint himself with the criminal case

The leader of the civil campaign “European Belarus” and presidential candidate, Andrei Sannikov, is continuing to acquaint himself with the criminal case, whereby he has been accused of organising so-called “mass riots” on 19 December.

Alla Sannikov, the mother of the politician, says that the studying of the materials has been going on for five consecutive days, without a break at the weekend:

“Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday … Today is already the fifth day. Apparently, they are in a hurry there, so on weekends the studying of materials does not stop.”

On 6 April, they (the KGB prison staff) accepted a parcel from Alla Sannikova for her son, together with all the food products that (previously) they had not accepted for two weeks, Radio Liberty reports. As a result, his mother has come to the conclusion that her son’s health has improved. We remind you that for a long time Andrei Sannikov was only allowed diet foods. From the letters of the prisoner it became clear that a disease of his joints had become acute. Alla Sannikova receives letters from her son regularly:

“He writes that he has already been given an individual bunk. Yet I do not quite understand – how can that be so? Previously he was forced to sleep on the floor, and only now they have given him an individual bunk?”
