Belarusian youth laid out alley of friendship with EU

An alley of friendship with the European Union was laid out by activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” on Winners Avenue on 16 May.

Young people planted different species of trees. Trees’ branches were tied with blue ribbons. Besides blue ribbons, one of the trees has also white-red-white ones – colours of the national flag of Belarus.

By this action the young Belarusians expressed their wish to become a part of the European family.
