Activists from Sannikov’s staff arrested in Polotsk

In Polotsk an hour ago, activists from Sannikov's campaign staff, Viktor Kolesnik and Aleksandr Kalintsev, were arrested. They were taken to the city police department.

As reported by the rights centre “Vyasna”, local human rights defenders, friends, went into a summer cafe to drink coffee, but were immediately arrested. Victor Kolesnik managed to say over the telephone that the police had accused them of petty hooliganism and protocols about administrative liability (reports prior to prosecution) have now been prepared.
